Excess moisture usually occurs in the following areas: air-conditioning units, basements, attics, and crawl spaces; bathrooms; carpets; heating and air-conditioning ducts; humidifiers and dehumidifiers; refrigerator drip pans; and water and sewer pipes.

Identifying mold is important because it is a common cause of asthma and/or allergic reaction with sensitized people. Now you can find out the type and quantity of mold in your home. Just mail back your mold test kit, and you will receive a lab report on the type and severity of mold in your home or work environment plus color photos of the actual test results. You can view your lab results online, have them emailed in PDF format, or sent by regular mail.
